At Tiny Chihuahua Shop, we share products inspired by Cedric and Maya, including official fan merchandise and a small selection of products for tiny dogs. Return and refund options depend on the type of product purchased, how it is fulfilled, and your location.
Please review this policy carefully before placing an order, or reach out anytime if you have questions—we’re happy to help.

C. Third-Party Fulfilled Products
Some products sold through our store are fulfilled by third-party partners, including certain dog apparel, dog costumes, pet essentials, and accessories. Return eligibility, timing, and method for these items are determined by the fulfillment partner’s return policy.
Where applicable, third-party fulfilled products may qualify for returns or exchanges, provided there is no misuse, excessive activity, or abuse of the return process. We reserve the right to limit or refuse returns in cases of repeated or abusive return behavior.
2. Dog Boots — United States & International Orders (Outside Canada)
For customers located outside of Canada, including the United States and other international destinations, we resolve dog boot–related issues on a practical, case-by-case basis.
We can help with:
- Size or fit concerns
- Items received damaged
- Manufacturing defects or material issues identified within 30 days of delivery
Typical resolution:
- We may offer a replacement set at no additional cost
- In some cases, a refund may be offered at our discretion
- International return shipping is generally not required, unless a return-based option is selected
- When a return is not required, donation of the original boots is optional and appreciated
Resolutions are determined individually based on item condition, usage, time since delivery, and the nature of the issue.
3. Dog Boots — Canada Only (Returns & Exchanges)
For customers located in Canada, we accept returns for dog boots and Bee and Ladybug dog costumes fulfilled by us.
Eligibility:
- Return request must be made within 14 days of delivery
- Items must be returned in original packaging and original condition
We understand that a brief indoor try-on may be necessary to assess fit. Items may be tried on indoors for sizing purposes only and must not be worn outdoors or used beyond fit testing.
Items showing significant pet hair, dirt, odor, stretching, moisture exposure, outdoor wear, or other signs of use beyond fit testing are not eligible for return.
Process:
- A prepaid return shipping label is provided (limited to one per eligible order)
- Once received and inspected, a replacement will be issued first when available
- If a replacement cannot be fulfilled, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method
4. Shipping, Duties & Refund Scope (Dog Boots)
Unless an item is defective or incorrect, refunds apply to the product price only.
- Original shipping fees, duties, taxes, and tariffs are non-refundable
- These costs are paid to third parties and are outside our control
This applies to refund requests related to:
- Color preference
- Change of mind
- Size or fit where a refund is requested instead of a replacement
For size or fit concerns, we may offer a replacement item at no additional cost as a goodwill resolution. Replacement shipments do not constitute a refund.
5. Normal Wear & Use (Dog Boots)
Dog boots are subject to wear depending on terrain, activity level, and frequency of use.
Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, chewing, scratching, abrasion, or prolonged use is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not automatically eligible for replacement or refund.
6. Dog Boots — Alternative Fulfillment & Additional Return Options
In limited circumstances, such as during inventory restocks, dog boots may be fulfilled directly by our manufacturing partners to ensure faster delivery.
When this occurs, additional return or exchange options may be available, including return eligibility for customers located in the United States. These options may require return shipping and may follow the manufacturer’s return procedures.
We remain your primary point of contact for all dog boot orders, and this fulfillment method does not limit any rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Fan Merchandise & Made-to-Order Items (Print-on-Demand)
All print-on-demand items are produced specifically for each order and are final sale. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for incorrect size, color preference, or change of mind.
Damaged Items or Manufacturing Errors:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery
- Clear photo evidence is required
- Multiple affected items may require a single photo or video showing all items together
Resolution:
- A free replacement will typically be issued
- If a replacement is not possible or reasonable, a refund may be issued
- Damaged items do not need to be returned
Minor print placement variations are normal. For DTG products, placement deviations of up to 0.5 inches are not considered defects.
If an order is returned due to unsuccessful delivery, we may offer a reprint (which may involve an additional charge) or a partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
8. Defective or Incorrect Items (All Products)
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, contact us within the applicable reporting window and provide photo or video evidence.
We will offer a replacement or refund, including applicable shipping costs, depending on the situation.
9. Final Sale Items
Personalized items, gift cards, sale items, and used or worn items are final sale unless damaged on arrival.
10. Address Verification & Delivery Accuracy
Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipping information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.
We use automated address verification systems to help ensure accurate and timely delivery. If an address appears incomplete, invalid, or unrecognized by postal services, corrections may be automatically applied where supported.
In some cases, we may contact you to confirm or update your shipping address before an order is dispatched. Orders requiring address confirmation may experience processing or delivery delays.
Delivery timeframes do not account for delays caused by address verification, corrections, or customer confirmation requests.
11. Late Deliveries & Carrier Delays
Delivery timeframes provided at checkout are estimates only. While we work hard to ship orders promptly, delivery delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including postal service disruptions, customs processing, weather events, or other carrier-related issues.
We are not able to guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers once an order has been dispatched. However, if your order appears significantly delayed or stalled in transit, please contact us and we will assist in investigating the issue.
If an order is shipped without tracking or is confirmed lost in transit, we will offer a replacement. If a replacement cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be issued.
12. Returned to Sender & Undeliverable Packages
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, failure to collect the package, or unsuccessful delivery, we will contact you to discuss next steps.
Depending on the situation, we may offer reshipment (which may require additional shipping fees) or a partial refund excluding original shipping costs.
13. Fraud Prevention & Order Review
To protect our customers and our business, all orders are subject to automated and manual review.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order prior to shipment if it appears to be fraudulent, abusive, automated, or intended to test payment methods, or if it otherwise violates this policy.
In such cases, any payment received will be fully refunded, and we are not obligated to fulfill the order. Additional verification may be requested before processing future orders.
We reserve the right to restrict or refuse future orders associated with repeated fraudulent or abusive activity.
14. Unauthorized Returns
We do not accept returned items without prior communication and approval. Returns sent without authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.
15. Order Cancellations
Orders may be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After this window, cancellation may no longer be possible.
