Pour de courtes sorties d’hiver. Les seules bottes que nous avons trouvées qui tenaient sur les petites pattes de Cedric et Maya.
Nous avions abandonné.
Puis un fan a envoyé
ces bottes.
Après avoir essayé des bottes qui ne tenaient jamais sur les petites pattes de Cedric et Maya, nous avions abandonné nos recherches. Puis un jour, un fan nous a envoyé un ensemble par courrier.
Ce n’étaient pas les premières bottes envoyées par des fans. C’étaient les premières qui tenaient enfin aux pattes de Cedric et Maya.
C’est pour cela que nous les proposons. Ce ne sont pas les bottes les mieux fabriquées ni les plus durables. Mais pour nos petits chiens, elles ont enfin réglé un problème que nous avions renoncé à résoudre.
Notre expérience, partagée honnêtement
« Petit chien » ne veut pas toujours dire petit comme les nôtres.
Si on recevait une pièce de monnaie chaque fois qu’on nous dit « Mon chat est plus gros que votre chien », le club des chiens minuscules pourrait se payer sa propre petite ville.
Un chien quatre fois plus gros que Cedric ou Maya peut quand même être considéré comme « petit ». Même les bottes de grandes marques pour petits chiens que nous avons essayées étaient trop amples ou trop rigides pour leurs pattes fines — et glissaient aussitôt de leurs pattes.
Ce sont des bottes en tissu toutes simples et souples, avec une bande élastique réglable et une doublure en fausse fourrure. C’est cette souplesse qui a fait la différence pour Cedric et Maya.
Un bon choix pour
le bon petit chien.
Pour choisir en connaissance de cause, voici ce que ces bottes font bien et ce qu’il faut en attendre.
Un bon choix
- De petites pattes dont la longueur et la largeur ont été comparées au tableau des tailles.
- De courtes promenades hivernales et de brèves sorties dehors.
- Un tissu doux et souple pour les petites pattes fines.
Connaissez leurs limites
- L’usure peut apparaître rapidement : dans notre usage régulier, en environ un mois.
- Résistantes à l’eau, elles ne protègent pas lors d’une exposition prolongée à l’humidité.
- Elles ne sont pas conçues pour de longues randonnées sur terrain accidenté.
Comment mesurer ces petites pattes.
Mesurez une patte avant si possible : les pattes avant sont généralement plus grandes que les pattes arrière. Comparez sa longueur et sa largeur au tableau des tailles.
Debout sur le papier
Placez une patte avant sur une feuille de papier pendant que votre chien se tient debout naturellement et prend appui sur cette patte.
Tracez le contour de la patte
Tracez le contour de cette patte, griffes comprises, pendant que votre chien prend appui dessus.
Mesurez le contour
Sur le papier, mesurez le contour que vous avez tracé. Longueur : de la pointe de la griffe la plus longue jusqu’au bord arrière. Largeur : à l’endroit le plus large. Comparez les deux mesures au tableau des tailles ci-dessus.
Un peu de patience
pour le premier essai.
Essayez-les d’abord à l’intérieur. Vérifiez que la patte est bien placée, réglez la fermeture et laissez votre chien faire quelques pas pour contrôler l’ajustement.
Ne serrez pas trop. Vérifiez à nouveau le confort et la position des bottes avant de sortir. Les mesures de la patte et un réglage soigneux sont tous deux importants.

Highly recommend these boots.. it was impossible finding something that fit my little chihuahua, Taco.
They are a high quality product. The colors are vibrant, the fabric is high quality with the softest fleece inside that makes it very comfortable for tiny little feet. The strap to fasten to keep the boots on are easy to use, comfortable for tiny legs and very adjustable.
I highly recommend them, especially if finding boots for tiny paws are impossible.
Great customer support!!! Tinychihuahuashop email me a couple of weeks after I received my order asking how the boots were working out. I had purchased one pair of boots for my pom-chi and was unable to get all four boots on her. She would shake one off or pull one off as I tried to put the others on. I emailed back describing this problem. That same day I received tips (including a video) on how to get the boots on Bell. The tips worked! All four boots went on and we went outside and all was good. I've just ordered 3 more sets in different colors. The only tweak I will try is adding a layer inside on the bottom for more water resistance and warmth.
I have these booties in four colors and two different sizes for my Chihuahuas. They do not have lining on the sole, so I added my own for extra protection. Before using these, my dogs could only tolerate being outside for a few seconds. Now, with their booties and coats on, they are able to go outside comfortably and do their business.
I would absolutely purchase these again and would simply add padding to the inside sole as needed.

Easy to put on and they stayed on! Nori loves running zoomie laps in the snow, so I was expecting for these to go flying off at some point. 😂 but they stayed on! No snowballs between her toes or frozen toe beans. She felt warm enough to have a sploot after her run and they were a breeze to get off and hang up to dry. 💖
I couldn’t believe it - the booties actually *did* stay on for the whole walk, as long as they were the right size - just loose enough to slip on before tightening toggle firmly to make sure they don’t slip off. They don’t seem very waterproof, but for dry snow and salt on the sidewalks, they will be great.
Finally found the perfect! Boots that fit, easy to put on and she loves them!

I have bought my Maltese Maisy several different pairs of winter boots in the past with no luck. They were always way too big or clunky for her little paws, even when I bought their smallest size. These boots fit her perfectly, and they are light enough to not be cumbersome for her.
Coco is loving her new boots and so are we! They keep her feet dry and no worries about frozen footsies or salt! They are easy to put on her feet and most importantly they stay on!
I love the winter boots! Only boots that have fit my luna girl! She has to get used to them but xxs was perfect for her.
first pair of boots I’ve tried for my Papillon that have actually stayed on and kept his feet warm and dry!! XXs is a perfect fit on him!! He used to cry and hold his paws up on the snowy, salty roads but now he just trots along happily!! Love these boots so much!!!

I have a 5-pound Yorkie mix and it has been difficult to find snow boots that fit my dog's petite paws. My dog has a hard time keeping still so I measured my dog's paws by wetting them and stamping them on a piece of paper to measure them more accurately. I ordered an XS which fit my dog perfectly. The fastener drawstring has been great for keeping the boots from slipping off her paws. The boots also wash well, I put them on a gentle cold cycle in the washing machine and they've held up well so far.
My only complaint would be that the boots starting fraying after 1-2 uses (before washing), but I expect it to last us through this winter. I may have to purchase more in the future.

You’re also absolutely right about durability. These boots can start to look a bit well-loved fairly quickly, even Maya’s own pairs look 'a little rough', and she still happily wears them during her winter garden tours 😄 They may not stay “pretty,” but they do remain usable through the season.
That said, we genuinely wish they were more durable. We’re actively looking for longer-lasting alternatives that still stay on tiny paws, but so far, these are the only ones we’ve found that reliably do. The moment we find something truly more durable and secure, we’ll be very excited to share it.

I initially bought these after seeing multiple chihuahuas wearing them in the snow online. They fit my long hair chihuahua well and stayed on which I was happy about. However, when we got back home from our neighborhood walk the inside of all four boots were wet. It was not actively raining at the time of our walk but the sidewalk and grass was wet from the last rain. Since we live in Northern California we tend to get a lot of rain over the winter months so I was hoping these would keep his paws warm and dry. Unfortunately they did not. I will continue to search for waterproof booties.

We’re actively searching for a truly waterproof option that actually stays on tiny paws, but so far, we haven’t found one we’re confident in either, so we’re very much in the same boat. These are the perfect booties for small paws. The sizing is exactly as noted on the chart. My baby is a XS. The material is great quality and waterproof, plus they stay on. I’m obsessed with these boots. I just order a second pair incase I lose one lol. I’ve tried the balloon type ones and the rubber ones that look like crocs and even the socks but nothing has ever fit this well. My baby walks so good in them and they just look so good.
Churro doesn't like to go out in the rain or get her feet wet. The XS fit her perfectly (5.5 pounds). She didn't try to run immediately back inside when it was time to go out in the rain to use the bathroom. The color is also super cute!
We have been looking for the right booties for a while, the smallest size is always still too big & wont stay on those thin chihuahua legs! I am SO happy to have found these, they are perfect! They allow enough room for the paw to spread out & tighten perfectly at the ankle to stay on. Our little chihuahua had a blast on our snowy walk in these, many more snow days to come. Thank you!
